I have 6 years of working experience in General Orthopedic Surgery & Traumatology inclusive of 4 years in Spinal Surgery. I have completed 1 year of overseas spinal surgery fellowship attachment and have acquired the IGASS Fellowship in Spinal Surgery at the Guy’s & St. Thomas’ NHS Hospital in London, UK and the Fellowship of Minimally Invasive and Endoscopic Spinal Surgery at the Cheongdam Wooridul Spine Hospital in Seoul, South Korea. I have also completed the Malaysian Ministry of Health Subspecialty Fellowship Program in Spine Surgery, under the mentorship of the locally renowned Spine Consultant, Mr. Wong Chung Chek at the Hospital Umum Sarawak in Kuching. I have amassed experience of approximately 800 cases of hands-on spinal surgeries in both the anterior and posterior access to the spine. The spectrum of cases includes fractures, degenerative, deformities, scoliosis, infections, tumours, minimal invasive, video assisted and spinal endoscopy from occipital-cervical to lumbosacral region of the spine. This vast experience has allowed me to manage and handle spine surgeries independently in my current practice.
I look forward to working with you and you are most welcome to contact me if you have any queries regarding the care of your patients. Thank you and best regards.
